Rip a Remix Manifesto

The authors opinion on rip a remix manifesto is that copy right is an unreasonable law and remixing should be free because. he is a re mixer and is a young urban person that lives in the new age. So his opinion is bias because. The environment he is in is all about the new age and remixing is popular. My opinion is that the copy right laws are over kill because. They don't take the full song they just sample it so its not really copy right.

The author uses Girl talk as a character that shows bias because they are very straight forward on the opinion because.they are urban people that remix and use samples to create there own music. In which they benefit off which is copy right. But the copy writers feel it is an art and no one can own there creativity. The character that draws mickey mouse is also an example of bias because. He drew a provocative picture to show that he will draw what he wants and to show the law he didnt care. Which shows bias towards being creatively free.

I believe that remixing is perfectly fine and the law is to strict towards the copy writers. The government tries to control something that can not be controlled. This issue is a power struggle between re mixers and publishing company's. As time goes on re mixing is getting bigger and bigger. In the near future i believe remix artists will be recognized for there talent and artistic ability and be less frowned upon by the government.
